Splash bantam Kochin?

Hope I post this in the right forum?

I have this pretty bantam Kochin roo, but I am not sure if I can call his colour Slash? or is he Blue?
I have tired to google to compare with other pics, but I am still not sure.
Can someone with more experience help me?

On the pic he is only 4 months old, now he is 9.

Yes, Gandalf is a Splash color. By the way, Cochin is spelled with a "c".

I just realized you are in Norway - maybe you spell it different there.

Just I am more curious about this Splash colour.

How can suddely this colour come through in my breed?
And what colour will he bring on to the chicks?

And I have a blue hen, a wheaten hen and two black hens and two hens that looks like the wheaten hen, but a bit lighter in colour.

The Splash is a result of your Blue rooster and the blue hen mating.

Here is the way these color mixes work:

Splash x Black = 100% Blue
Splash x Blue = 50% Blue, 50% Splash

Blue to Blue = 50% Blue, 25% Splash, 25% Black
Splash to Blue = 50% Blue, 50% Splash
Splash to Black = 100% Blue
Splash to Splash = 100% Splash
Blue to Black = 50% Blue, 50% Black
Black to Black = 100% Black
