He is definitely a pretty boy! Sorry to hear he is not pure.

If he is a good roo, then I would definitely keep him! I haven't found a "good" roo out of any of mine!

I would not keep a roo with yellow legs. You have no way of knowing what color egg genetics he carries. A hen you could at least wait until she laid an egg and see if you wanted an egg of that color in your program. I finally took a photo of my splash, feather legged pullet that I hatched from a nice dark egg I got from bishopschickens. She is supposed to be copper splash, but so far no copper showing in her hackles. I still love her though. VERY nice personality!
