Splash Marans gender, 6 weeks old

I’m fairly certain that Helmi is a pullet, but would like to know what others think. Her wattles are a little larger than my other chicks of different breeds, but a Marans cockerel’s wattles and comb would be bigger and redder at this age, right?

She's very pretty... Yes, normally Marans cockerels waddles and comb are redder and bigger by this age unless the breeder is specifically breeding for smaller combs and then they can stump you for awhile longer as far as size.
But they usually are much redder than yours is. So my guess is pullet also.

I’ll update with pictures of her when she lays her first egg! I’m hoping for it to be darker than my two Cuckoo Marans.
