Splash or grey silkie!? Pics included!

I have a Silkie rooster who I thought was a grey silkie, but now his feathers have started to change colour. Is he a splash, grey or something else silkie!?

His back and neck feathers are brown...


He has a few black/green tail feathers...

I don't think he is splash. He looks like a blue. Some blues have that gold "brown" leakage in the hackles, saddles, and elsewhere. Could you get a full body shot? Looking at my standard, it's tough to tell if blue or gray. Either way, he is beautiful!
ETA it looks like he has a large spike on his comb, which should not be there, looks pretty good otherwise!

Thank you!! I've just looked at some blue silkie pictures and i think he is a blue now!!

He has 3 spikes on his comb, some are harder to see. Is the spike a bad thing?
