Looks like a silver cross of some kind. It looks like he has pinkish legs, so perhaps that rules out silver penciled Plymouth Rock. Wyandotte/Orpington cross?

he could be pure orpington out of mixed colors i had one but he was golden out of a blue/buff breeding!
