splash/ self bue/ lavender?

emvickery, are you sure yours is a lavender splash? Lavender breeds true and it should be a consistent color throughout the bird.

I've seen Bl/Bl, lav/lav. Emvickery's bird looks rather more like splash, as the bird's colour looks to be too nice for lavender & splash.

I've seen Bl/Bl lav/lav that looked nice. I would ask the question of why she/he considers it lavender splash, but lav has been bred into many blue and splash silkies. IMO, if one is calling it lavender splash, it does need to carry two copies of both genes.
