Splash Silkie Pullet or Roo????

I do think those look like streamers but I have a really hard time sexing non bearded silkies. Their crests seem less poofy to me in general if that makes sense? Maybe someone more familiar with the non bearded ones can chime in?

I hear ya on that. This is my first non bearded Silkie so everything is thrown off for me lol

Update: My girl turned out to be a boy after all.

I still don't know what color he is so I will have to keep learning more about Silkie coloring. Thanks for your input everyone!

Yea if you had just started this thread again I would undoubtedly say roo. I don't know how I missed it the first time (except I was newer to guessing) but the red leakage on the wings is a dead giveaway. Anyway, I hope you're able to keep him.

It's amazing what we learn in a short time. lol Unfortunately, my luck tends to run to males

I really love the miniature roos...they are so cute! I lost one of my favorite while he was still young (a Turken bantam) Silkie roos seem to have a lot of spunk. I also have Cochin bantam roos and they are def more laid back) He's a keeper since he's a sweetie

Yes they are 3 of my 30 silkies lol

the cuckoo is pixel, gurkin is the black and the paint is flower thanks!
