**Splash Silkies - Pictures**

I have some hens that were a light light blue as babies and now they have nice splash on them. I also have a hen that looks black but the bottom fluff is blue and they are called dark blue. Black will be black head to toe all over.

Yes, Blue come in several shades. Those chicks may still be blue. Some Blues are hard to tell from Black.

I have a cockerel that I am having a hard time figuring out if he is blue or splash If splash, his splashing is really dark, and occurs mostly (but not entirely) on areas that are supposed to be darker on a blue. Background is light blue. That "not entirely" is what is confusing me
