Splash silkies...

Do they look splash-ish as chicks or are they white and the blue splashes come later?

I just got some yesterday they are a week old, I can see some blueish on the wings, here are some pics. I have heard people say they get more color with age, its my first time with splash.

Yes, they do get more 'splashy' with age! Cute chicks!

Oh yay! I see a couple blue feathers here and there on Miss Peep. There were a couple pairs of solid white silkies and 1 pair of solid blue in the coop where I bought the eggs from. There's a chance right? I would LOVE a blue splash, but really I'm just happy she's alive!
