Splay leg?

Brought some babies home today. And one is like this? Seems super unsteady on feet too. Born yesterday.
Is this splay leg? (It keeps laying flat)

Have you seen it try to walk at all? Can it stand? Just based on the photo it's hard to say. Being born yesterday it might just be tired still. IME by day 3 they show a lot more signs of life.

If it is splay there is some way you can tape the legs together to keep them straight. IDK the proper way to do it, I dispatch chicks that aren't healthy. But I've seen the tape thing done before.

It kinda stumbles and seems likr it can’t go straight. But it’s eating and drinking!
 
The splay legs I've seen online and the one chick I've ever had have all looked like the photos below.

I doubt they could walk or stand at all. I'd say give it a bit more time to "get it's legs under it"

It stumbles, but can definitely move. I’ll keep an eye ❤️ it’s the only one doing it and struggling so I wasn’t sure
