I am sorry for your loss.

I recommend getting two more thermometers and calibrating them both for next time.

I keep 3 or 4 calibrated thermometers in my incubator so I can be sure of temps throughout the whole bator. Mine tends to run a half degree or a whole degree cooler in one corner of it.
