Splayed Leg

Looks to me like the leg has no problem reaching the same length/position as the other leg if I move it into position

So if it’s not splay leg should I take off the hobble? It’s definitely prohibiting the duckling from moving as much but is keeping his feet under him at least and he’s starting to spread his feet right

Sorry. Do you know how to check for slipped tendon? The tendon is supposed to stay center in the grove of the hock. When it's slipped out of place it will be on the side, not the middle, but applying pressure it should snap back to the center, and it kind of feels like a rubber band.

Never done it before today but looked it up and gave it my best shot, everything seems solid and in place though

Could the duckling been injured shortly after hatch was there other duckling running around in the brooder or incubator maybe it got stepped on?
