Splayed leg.

Yeah, when they have the splint on they don't walk much. They do a lot of laying around. Mine still managed to eat and drink though.
@HappyDuckie , I just remembered. Make sure that the water dish is super shallow. I used a quail water fount when I taped mine. They will drown SUPER easily with those splints on.
I have a quail waterer base for her, and she's been eating, too.
 
Aww! Can you get a pic? It may actually be a slipped tendon. Post pics of her hock too.
I might have a slipped tendon with a just hatched- how can you tell and know any remedy?
She seemed fine when I put her in the brooder, and now is yelling and limping...

Just hatched this afternoon so they are sleeping every 5 seconds!

It's not, splay (spraddle) leg is where their legs both constantly slide apart resulting in them looking like they're doing some form of the splits.
Ah ok, good to know. Yeah this is like she stands ok on the one leg but not the other, toes are a bit curled up...
