Splayed Legs

Hi,
I have a 3 week old quail and I'm concerned about her legs (more her left leg though). Despite this, she is able to walk, run, jump and do everything that a normal chick can do. They appear to be splayed but not enough that it disables her. In this case, would it be necessary to seek treatment at a vet? I would take her to the vet but the closest one is far away and I'm not sure she will make the trip as she is very young.

I honestly doubt they could/would do anything. It can sometimes be corrected as a newborn chick with splints but even then not always.

If she's not suffering and appears to be enjoying life and you're willing to accommodate her, I'd just keep doing what you're doing. You should have a plan in place in case she starts to appear in pain, though, either a vet trip or a home end-of-life plan.
