Splinting a foot?

I believe I have a hen who is recovering from Mareks (https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=184284).

She's doing very well and has had a couple chiro treatments from my vet - he thought she had some nerve damage from my aggressive rooster.

She appears to be comfortable and tries her very hardest to head from the coop to the barn nearly every day but she's developing a callous on one of her toes - they are folded up on that one foot. She does unfold them but she must walk on her knuckles to really get anywhere.

May I ask how I would splint her foot?

Thanks so much,
Kristie & Tootsie

Many on here do this for baby chicks with deformed feet or toes. Spread the foot on a light piece of cardboard, then duct tape it from the top and around the cardboard.
