Split beak on bantem ?

The beak on my bantem is splitting. He seems fine otherwise. I am not shure if it is a huge concern. What can I do to fix it?

A dab of Super Glue carefully applied might strengthen the tip. A 2 person job with someone firmly immobilizing the bird.

Chicken beaks do keep growing longer from the base, and get worn away at the tip (rather like toenails), so if you can just keep it from extending any further up the beak, it will eventually go away on its own.

Superglue sounds like a good idea for now, to help keep it from getting worse. Of course you'll have to be careful that you don't glue the beak closed, or glue your finger to the beak

It's safer to use the gel type super glue, rather than the liquid. The gel is less likely to run into the beak or anywhere else you don't want it to go. Just use a tiny bit.
