This is probably a stupid Q, but is it possible to potty train a chicken?

Ha ha ha ha!!!!Lol... Don't lose hope... I do know that it seems like I never have gotten pooped on when I'm holding them, just when they roost on my shoulder... And I let one into our camper every once in a while (I have to sneak her in, DH says "NO EGG LAYING IN CAMPER"... But I let her in anyway lol)... And she lays an egg, but never do find any poop...
I had a parrot once...he had " free range" in my house, and he seemed to always go to the same spot on the curtain rod and poop on the wall... But he also never pooped ON me while I was holding him...
Maybe they won't poop in the house if you hold them constantly?![]()
Need that baby sling lol![]()
I'm sorry ROFL I'm trying to be serious and witty, but I keep thinking of the scene in "Open Season" where Boog is needing to poo but embarrassed in public, and Eliott just poops right there on the spot.... Yep.![]()
Ha ha ha ha!!!!So TBird told you about the infamous "chick and duckling sling".
I carried my Silver Spangled Hamburg girl in it for a short time-she never pooped in it, by the way-and TBird carried my 2 Cayugas and Blue Runner in it when they were little. But at the moment that sling is currently in use by my baby brother, so maybe the answer is simply to buy another one specifically for the birds!
