We have 6 wonderful, healthy girls; 2 Buff Orpingtons about 4yo and 4 Golden Comets about 2yo. Sadly we need to find them a new safe & happy home. We are asking around locally, but we need to have them re-homed very soon so I thought that I would also reach out to this great community.
They are spoiled rotten, given extra treats daily and have always been free ranging. We originally had 4 Orpingtons, lost 2 so decided to get the 4 comets about 2 years ago. They are still egg layers. We are in the Brevard, FL area, any suggestions are appreciated or if anyone is interested please let us know. There are 2 coops that can be included free as well.
Thank you!

I understand where you are coming from. Would you like some pictures of my flock? I'm always up for showing some pictures!

I do live on a large property, around 5 acres, and I do have a large number of chickens, 41, about 20 are under 4 months old that I hatched myself and the other part are bantams. I've had chickens for most of my life, my grandmother always had RIRs, and I got interested in the cool looking chickens and of course the eggs.

None of the pictures I just took want to Upload but I do have plenty of pictures already uploaded so here they are.

Your girls will be able to free range most of the time except for when no ones home witch doesn't happen often. They will be put in a 36 foot by 40 foot fenced-in area for safety if no ones home. At night they will go In a coop.

Do you have pictures and measurements of the coops?

The original coop is still together but not in great shape, it's 32" wide x 70" long x 45" tall with a little run attached (43" x 45" x 18"):

The newer coop that we got for the comets (although they all share both coops now randomly) is still in great shape. It's 26" wide x 53" long and 40" tall:
