Spoiled lavenders

We purchased these girls in early may. Held every day and it's gotten bad. Now when we give them their time on the yard to free range for an hour or so, they would rather sit with my wife on the swing and gossip.

Oh boy, we just hatched a lavender that's Amazing.. That brings Friendly chicken breed to a whole new level. I can't wait I really hope it's a Hen.

Thank you.. maybe you could help me with a question or direct me to the right forum area I'm extremely new to navigating the site. My situation is that our Buff Orphington carries the lavender gene and looks like a standard buff. I can't find that mentioned anywhere is that a common thing? He mated with our Wyandotte and they created the lavender and I'm 100% positive it's a lavender. Our hen dissappeared due to a predator that's what made us hatch her remaining egg. And what a little present she left us with she even laid it on the nesting shelf separate of the boxes I guess she knew it was special. If the chick turns out to be a hen could it later be safely mated back to the roo with the lavender gene?

Two of them lay a more mint green Egg and one a sky blue. not sure who's, who yet. only that one of the green eggs always has a few specks of gray on it every time.
