Spoiled orangescan you feed to chickens?

My buddy has a orange tree and gave my spoiled oranges for chickens is that ok?

Im thinking no, 1. because you shouldn't feed spoiled food to them, and 2 seems like i read somewhere on the treats list that citrus isn't good for chickens but not sure about that. So I would say no. Sandy

yep just checked it out it, It is on the do not feed to chickens list. Citrus that is.

The stuff I read said that occasional citrus was ok. The problems came in when citrus became a staple in the diet. Spoiled food isn't any better for chickens than it is for the rest of us.
