Spoiled Rotten Babies

Even without a liner, if you put water in the hole once dug and let the ducks swim, play and poop in the water until they are done and eventually they will seal the pond for you!

Here is a link to a post here in 2010...I just found it as I am using this method for my two hand dug ponds that we are working on now. They are not that big and I figure over time they will hold water better.

Goodmorning...

I have about six kiddie pools for them. They and I work hard in the garden and around the farm. I have always wanted a pond with plants.

Ok truth be told I have put them in our pool some last summer. I saw the difference between a kiddie pool and the big pool . How happy they are when they get to dive around and play. I want them that happy all the time.

I let my ducks swim in the big pool too and they had so much fun!! But my 40 Gallon stock tank still allows them to dive and splash around better than a kiddie pool would’ve.
