WTFs can be held occasionally, but they still have sensitive skin. I wet my hands and then carefully pick him up. I only hold him for a few minutes and not very often since frogs aren’t really handling animals. But you can always do it now and then.
I’m a new frog owner so I can’t really say how often, but that sounds good to me.
