My name is Lorna. I am new to BYC, and raising chickens. I live in Spokane Valley and plan to have a coup up by next year. Started off here to gather ideas and see what works for people. I look forward to hearing some great ideas and stories.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens, you may like to post on the Washington state, thread. Give you a good chance to learn what others do = feeding, coops, runs, breeds that do best, handling the climate etc.. Then you will have all the knowhow when you do get your chickens. The BYC Learning Center is a great place to visit as well
