Texas, among other states, sells all your info to anyone who can pay the fee as a way to generate money for the state.

Not a darned thing you can do about it... unless you never ever get a driver's license... no DL no info form to pass to others...
Of course, that means that you cannot drive without going to jail.

So, your choice... either anyone and everyone has your full name, address, phone number and who knows what else...

OR

You walk or ride a bike anywhere you want to go.

I wouldn't be the least surprised if this site just went straight to the states (where done) for their info.

Edit... hey anyone know if their state does this too? I'm curious as to just how many do and don't.
As much as I love Texas I'd be thrilled to live in a state where crooks can't buy my address from the state that's poda protect us.
