So I made a spaniel thread but how about the rest of the sporting/gun dog breeds?? Anybody have any of those?? Talking like spaniels, setters, retrievers, pointers, etc. and yes of course spaniels are welcome here too or you can post over on the spaniel thread or both. Whatever you like. I just love these types of breeds. We have always had retrievers or retriever mixes but I may branch out for the next dog. Maybe not though. Idk. I love all the sporting breeds though. We had a wonderful Black Lab/Great Pyrenees mix for 6 1/2 years (we had to put him down in December) and before him we had a yellow Lab who was amazing and who I grew up with, he lived to be 13 but we got him at 18 months, so we grew up together, and the dog before him was a Golden Retriever but I barely remember him as I was very little. My brother and his fiancée have 2 Lab/Pyrenees mixes currently but they’re both also mixed with a few other breeds and they’re not related. Both rescues and both rescued at different times. Anyway, I love these sporting breeds. Such great family dogs and great dogs in general. Love their personalities and temperaments. So anyway, long story short, who has any of these breeds or types of dogs!? This can be the sporting/gun dog lover thread haha
