hi all! I’m not brand new to hatching and far from an expert. I just picked up a used 1502 to go with an updated 1200 series I believe it is. The temp stayed perfect at first, this morning I checked it before work and the temp was down to 52 degs. The red light was solid so I took that as it was trying to heat just not getting up to temp. After work today it is right back to 99-100 degs. The latest incubator only has the electronic thermostat and no wafer. My older version has both. I’m running them in a heated garage but the temp can get down to the 50’s the older model I have had running for a sold year hatching weekly without any temp issues at all. Any ideas? I panicked this am and ordered a cpl of backup heating elements then got home and it was back to temp.. pic is both of them concern on the right side one. Quail is my flavor of choice!!
Thanks

HOw long was it at 52 degrees and did you let it run about 8 hours before you but the eggs in were they both doing it?

I don’t have any eggs in it yet. This is trial run time for me. The other incubator was fine. I only saw the temp and left for work.so no idea how long it was like that. I Came home to good temp and did some searching and decided to ask

I wish I could be any help to your issue but, I'm glad I read this. I believe I'm going to get an AcuRite system for my incubators that keep records of temp and humidity. They're a little pricey but, I can monitor 3 units with graphs and everything. I hope you figured it out. Good luck
