A little while ago, I posted about some scabs on my hen's comb and was told it could have been minor injuries. Today, I saw a few more spots on her comb but these looked more like bumps. These weren't here yesterday so I'm guessing it appeared overnight. I've looked on other threads and found that it may be fowl pox or maybe an infection? I also think there’s a possibility it may be bug bites since occasionally flying insects get in the coop.

Fowl pox is spread by mosquitoes.
Have you seen any around lately?
No, yesterday and today were about 57 degrees F and mosquitos come out in hot weather. Is fowl pox only spread by mosquitoes? Any other flying insects that could carry it? I’m still thinking it may be bug bites.
