Part of it is a pullet thing, especially the rough stuff. Most of that should straighten out. She needs to learn how to adjust her internal egg laying factory and how to apply calcium. The surprising thing is not that some occasionally need to work out some kinks. The surprising thing is how many actually get it pretty close to right to start with. It’s a complicated process, laying an egg.
Part of it is to not believe all you hear about how the egg is supposed to be colored. There are a whole lot of different factors in what an egg looks like, a lot of it is genetics, some of it how early in her lay cycle she is, and who knows what else. Reality gets in the way of what is supposed to happen with chickens all the time.
It’s a good looking egg. Enjoy it. Those spots might or might not go away eventually and the egg color will probably lighten in time. It will still be a good egg.
