I’m sure they did, now she isn’t responding to me! I can’t believe they’d do that! I think they were probably lying on purpose.

I posted an add for my roosters on a local backyard chicken group and she said she would trade my 3 roosters for one hen. Then we met at a gas station that is half ways for both of us. She told us a general location of where she lives. She seems to have a lot of chickens and turkeys, she even asked if she could have one of our turkey tomsHow did you get the chicken? Did they drop it off or do they live nearby or something? Is there a way to go to their house?
about 25-30 minutes she lives in the next town overHow far is it to the gas station?
Yeah I’m definitely not upset that it’s a rooster, I was fine with either or. I’m kind of glad it’s a rooster so that I don’t have to start looking for a new oneWell, on the bright side, Orpingtons make really nice roosters.
Our Clifford is the nicest chicken we've ever had.
Yours has some English blood, and since he's a boy he's obviously not done growing yet, with his tail only half grown. So, he may fluff out a bit more and earn the "English" designation.
I wanted a new hen but I was fine with a rooster too, we needed a new rooster anywayOhh, I thought that you specifically wanted a hen. That’s good then!
