how long do i need to keep its leg hobbled... acouple days or what...

It can be anywhere from a day to a week. It depends on the chick. I think most are 3 - 4 days, but I could be wrong.

Wait until they are standing up and trying to walk around on their own. Then to be safe give it a day or 2 more.

Then take the hobble off and watch them. If they are still having trouble after a little wobbliness, they might need more time.

They often fall off on their own when the baby's legs are strong enough.
