Spraddle leg and what remaining options

Just a quick update the chick made it through the night and is eating drinking and walking. I will leave the band on the legs another couple of days and hope for the best.

I have named this chick "Lucky" as it has so far survived being stuck in the shell and a bout of spraddle leg all in the first 3 days of it's life. It has not had a great start to life but fingers crossed Lucky will grow into a healthy adult bird.

Hey all, final update today as promised. I removed the band this evening after getting home from work, and Lucky is walking around more or less as normal just a slight wobble, but I guess thats just the bird adjusting to me taking the bands off the legs. Good to know this technique works in case I come across it again in the future.
