Hi, I have a 1.5 day old chick with spraddle leg and curved toes. I have tied its legs together and put a splint on its foot. It is just laying on its side crying, sleeping, it can't sit up at all and it is not interested in feed or water. Will it get better or should I euthenise it?

I run in to spraddle leg all the time. The best thing is to buy cohesive elastic bandage. The sell them everywhere. They stick to themselves, not to you.then follow the above link.also use pine shavings or non-slip table coverfor your chicks bedding.Comes in a 12' roll for a dollar or so at the family dollar, dollar general,or most dollar stores. Its machine washable and reuseable.
