Spraddle leg

Can "adult" ducks (these are about 5months old now) get spraddle leg from walking on smooth surfaces? I know this is a problem when they are very young. Built new duck house for drakes, but hubby put solid (smooth) floor in it and wondering if this is likely a problem.

I don't know about spraddle leg, but if the floor is slippery, they could slip and damage a tendon if they fall wrong.

It shouldn't be a problem. Sprinkle a bit of sand on the surface, or buy some rubber stall mats to go on the floor. Or you can get rubber "puzzle mats" and cover the floor with those.

If the floor is wooden, paint it and when the paint is wet, sprinkle a bit of sand on it.
