So, I have hatched my very first peachick out of the eggs our own hen laid. Very exciting!
Not having ever even seen a peachick before...I was wondering about the legs on this little one. Sure looks like spraddle leg to me?
The chick is about 9 hours old in this picture. I had just moved it into the brooder before I took the picture. I noticed the paper towels were a little slippery for the little one so I changed those in for one of those surgical towels.

Should I tie up the legs?

Yes, that looks like spraddle leg. I would tie up the legs either with a rubber band or a band-aid. More information on treating spraddle-leg (also called splay-leg) can be found on BYC.
