Hi everyone...
I have been incubating chickens for years.. Friday i will be placing quail eggs for the first time in incubator.. I heard i could kill bacteria by spraying eggs with 50% listerine and 50% water mixture and let dry before placing.. Just wanted your advice.. thanks

I've used Listerine to sanitize my incubator, not so sure its a good idea to spray the eggs with it. Most I've read advise against trying to clean eggs prior to incubation...but some folks do...I never have and when I incubate my home grown eggs I almost always get 80% + hatch rate
