Where the meal worms are concerned do I use live or the dried ones?
@Treerooted how are babies doing today is everyone doing better?
So I had a rough couple weeks with life and my chicks. I had 2 RIR chicks about 6 weeks old and one decided to go swimming when there wasn't a life guard.![]()
Finally started on the coop tonight! It is seeming like it will actually take less work than I thought! Our chicks are almost 4 weeks old so I am trying to get it done asap. Also hoping we find a new home for 3 of our 7 soon because we only have room for 4 in the coop (converting an old dog house a friend built.)
Hello, my brother and I picked up a dozen chicks at tractor supply a few weeks ago and last week I noticed that some were sneezing. Is this bad and what can I do about it?
This does not look like molt. My parents raised chickens for years so I do remember some of the molting process and i don't remember seeing anything like that. We never had mites or lice so I'm not sure what it looks like.[/IMG]![]()

10 week old RIR . Is this juvenile molt? Or is this lice/mites?
. Thank you.I would recommend posting in the emergencies/diseases/injuries and cures section. You will probably get more help there.
