You will love them! They are so friendly and LOVE to snuggle.

People claim turkeys are stupid, but I have taught them a lot of different things, including out to drink out of a rabbit water bottle,
OH look Bright Shiny thing!!!

There will also be a gentleman here at the stock that is setting up some things that i think are great.
They are recycled cardboard,
he makes them into bedding for animals.
some shredded, used for ferrets, bunnies, gerbils ect....
and some card board he runs through a machine to makes these cuts in them, can be used for chicks bedding.

I use them now, i think they work great, 1 less dust, 2 the chicks can not eat it. 3 it does not go in there water.

I will be using it with chicks that i set up out side so you all can see how it works.

It is also good for bedding in transporting birds and other animals.

He is good priced too.

Yep, they are really smart. Our Narri girls sometimes like to wander down the driveway, and when I see them I open the front door and yell "hey! get back in the yard!" They all look at me with suprised expressions, then turn and run full speed back up the driveway and into the backyard like "oh cr*p, mom saw us!" LOL

(what's wrong with that LOL) I just hatched 6 chicks, and have 30 more due in 2 weeks, so he's a bit nervous!

How long did it take you to get to the NEPC in W.Spfld? I'm in Spfld, so just looking for a real life example. I want to come have fun with some chicken people! I'll let you know soon.. promise!

It took about an hour and half and we got lost on the way there the first day, lol

My Heritage breed turkeys are still holding out on me, even though the boys are dancing and ermm ,,, ya that too.
shouldnt be too long now I hope, so should have these eggs for sale"

Narigansettes,
Jersy Buffs
Midget Whites.

Now as for duck I am still waiting the incubator and shipment from Texas, Might not have Heritage breeds till late fall or early spring next year, but one thing will be guarenteed they will all be PURE bred animals and not mules.
I have been seeing a lot of wrong crossed duck eggs for sale for hatching be carefull small ducks bred to larger ducks make weak ducklings and a lot of deformed chicks.

Depending what hatches out for the next few swaps I will have American Buff Ducks, and Ancona Ducks
very pretty very docile bug eaters.
I am waitning for more Buff eggs, and some Silver Apple Yards and I have bids on a few more Heritage breeds.
