Shay, thanks for posting pics, your place looks AWESOME! Also neat to see people (in the pics) who were there. Sorry we couldn't come, but i hadn't been well for a few days, and we weren't up to the long trip. i'm glad so many others could go, and maybe if you do this again, we can mange a trip! I'll probably see you in Milford? We are planning to go there.

Shay, didn't even think about bringing a pony lol, next time I will for sure! Did you get my PM about raffle #'s? Oh and Shay next time you have one of these, if you make up some fliers (or I could help you make up fliers) and I could post them at my local feed stores

Gypsy- Something I will have to plan for next year, I can only stop by Milford this year as my boyfriend made plans for a snowmobile hill cross in Henniker since last year, originally I wasn't going at all, as I drag him to all the swaps and said to myself I am just going to go this and not say anything- He says to me, well its on the way we could stop...the one that doesn't care about the birds at all ( but was out this morning talking to my new ducks hahaha)

So I'm lucky to be even going. But it would be something fun to plan for next year, this would be my first time at Milford, so I'll check it out to see where I could park a trailer and set up.

I have another horse that drives, but I don't have a big wagon. Have to invest in one, I take the Shriner's Hospital burn kids for rides one at a time on his meadow cart once a year, but a nice big wagon would be much nicer - so expensive tho!

Wendy I love the sign idea!

put them thar eggs in the incubator LOl. turkeys 28 days to hatch gees 30 - 35
DO NOT leave goose eggs in bator to hatch put them in a hatching brooder, they leave a mess like no tomorrow, hard to clean out of the bator.
hard to sterilize .
he he turkey will continue to lay until you let her sit those there eggs.
not sure if they will stll be fertile Muffi's tom wasnt there to fertilize them, unless the bronze boy did his duty they might be fertile.

Really dont need a huge cart, a one at a time cart is perfect actually, beauty of Milford is the store is a wrap around drive way. nice little ride in a cart.

Is there going to be snow in heniker on the 3rd? I dont have any snow here and I am not all that far away ( evil grin, maybe it will cancel due to lack of snow)mwahaaahaaa.( oops out loud voices yet again)

awww hubby becimes the duck whisperer, how cute, I wonder if he can come sweet talk this bratty gander LOL.
I think me and mr gander are going to have a fight, good thing he is a rare breed other wise goose stew LOL ( kidding)

All this goose talk I was thinking about getting geese but maybe not! I'll send him over to talk to your goose, my bratty horse loves him too....he's the all around animal whisper he just doesn't know it lol.

They make snow for the event, It's at Pat's Peak Ski Resort, it actually is a good time, they have a pub, so we watch people fall down the hill and have some beers and spend the night at our friends a minute up the road. I enjoy it actually, I just like my swaps too

Good to know about the small cart. The pony has a little wagon, only takes 1 or 2 people. The pony is actually owned by the Shriner's technically ( we were going to buy her, but 6 horses is enough:p ), but my dad is one of the Mounted Patrol, and she could use the "use", so I can take her whenever. My horse is a big boy (Morgan QH X) and full of it! He's 15.3 and probably around 1200 lbs, I can control him but he loves to move right along with that cart, some people love it, others are scared to death!

Looks like you guys had great fun, sorry I missed it. I will be at Milford for sure.

Shay, looks like you have a nice spread there, good luck to you!

As for the sign idea, I think everyone should have one, we had ours last year and it made it easy for people to find us when we communicated thru email, just told them to look for the Valentine & Son's sign
