One more thing for them to control. This should be addressed more in the problem areas not the whole US. These ducks would not last long in Maine without us feeding them, they would either starve or be taken by the first predator, they can't move very fast in the snow...

From what I got out of this you can still have them and breed them you just have to have a permit and breed and sell for meat only. With living in Maine we are pretty much used to needing a permit or license for everything, lots of birds or any other animal we can not keep here without a permit.

I made a decision last night, I'm going to sell my whole group of young EEs. I can only have one breeding pen, without building a new shed, the way my property is set up. Building sheds in Fitzwilliam requires a permit no matter how small the structure will be and I don't want to call attention to my keeping a ton of chickens here. I'm looking at getting hatching eggs for wheaten and blue wheaten true Ameraucanas and those will be what goes in my breeding pen instead of a bunch of mutt EEs, as beautiful as these EEs are.

So... I will have 5 EE pullets and 5? EE cockerels to sell at this chickenstock. They are fully feathered and ready for the great outdoors already so they will be 100% coop ready by the chickenstock. See https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=268663&p=7 post #67 for pics taken in early February. Bippity turned cockerel and was recently badly beat up by two of the bigger cockerels, if he makes it and heals up he will be at the chickenstock ($3). Sunny, Bobby, and Starlight will be in the silent auction. I plan to sell Twilight (blue pullet) and Boppity (blue splash cockerel) as a pair ($15), buyer can do as they please with Boppity after that. Mack will be selling for $5. Pullets Boo, June, and Anise will be $12 each. They all have puffy cheeks and necks, some are showing beards too. Anyone interested can reserve Bippity, Boo, June, Anise, or the blue pair ahead of time but the three in the auction will have to be bid on at the chickenstock. I'm going to miss this group but I think I'd be better off raising true Ameraucanas instead of these guys.

ETA: I will also no longer be looking for EE pullets either.

OK, so I had my friend look at the feathersite page for Polish and identify what color she is looking for. Turns out it is WC blue and WC black bantam Polish that she is interested in getting. From chicks up to 1 year. She is interested in one roo and the rest pullets or hens. I'm sure she would be OK with straight run chicks too. Not sure her want as far as numbers.

Oh yeah, same friend has a gorgeous Partridge Silkie roo to sell, nearly a year old. Make an offer.

Shay, We are going to bring all of our Partridge roos I believe and a few hens. Whatever roo you pick(if you do) you can take, but whatever you don't want could we donate to the silent auction along with a couple hens with each? Like a "starter kit". And we will be there pretty much for sure. SL wyandottes and GL wyandottes w/ them.
