Spring Chick Fling Chickenstock in Ma ,Great time every one!!!

Except for the Sussex all mine are really "chicken" of the snow! The Sussex actually like the stuff . BUT they're scared to death of bags. Feed bags, bags of shavings, plastic trash bags, popcorn bags all give them near heart attacks. It will be a blast cleaning their home out this weekend.

So is Fred finally gone, and everyone safe from attack?

My Sebright Xs don't mind the snow either! They cross over & sit in it! Every other chicken makes a path...

Poyo'sMama :

I have 3 seramas, 2 hens & a roo for sale. I'm afraid to keep them as my flock is free-ranging & I have a tendency to lose the small ones:((
I also have 3 young roos, 2 sex link, they are white & very, very friendly & one Speckled Sussex roo. All are pure & not hatchery stock.
I also have a beautiful young mixed Orpington hen, if she's anything like her Mom, she'll be a very good layer & very broody. She is mostly black with red wing feathers. Her Mom is huge and started laying young. I get anywhere from 4-9 eggs a day even now & I've seen Mama always sitting!
Barb
I'd like the Seramas to go together as a group, if possible. And I'll get pics tomorrow if anyone is interested.

I also have a young Barred Rock rooster that I'm trying to get rid of....he's free, quite prolific & hard to catch:rolleyes:

I may be interested in the Serama trio if they are very small (A and B size). Can you post pix?

Tammie

Anyone have any interest in a 10 y.o Nubian Goat that needs a good forever home? He's sweet and makes a good companion.

We can't keep him, due to my parents ugly divorce - and my dad being in the excavation company and business is needless to say not good. We may have a horse for sale as well within a month or two depending on how things go.

But the goat is free to a good home. He's not registered. He actually is from Flames auction and we have had him for 10 years. He is a buck - but never "dropped". I have him on craiglist....but you wouldn't believe how many people want to eat him! ( I personally can't imagine a 10 year old goat to taste good!)

Shay, can you spare a GSL for me? How much? and How old?
