My KC drake will change head feathers...he gets beautiful, shiny green!
Still hanging on to his winter coat for now though

He appears to be in eclipse molt. Soon his colour will go back to normal. That lasts a couple of months. Cute Duck.

My one Runner drake is getting his pretty green head and purple on his wings ( he’s solid blk) but still missing his drake feather. But sure hasn’t slowed down his mating behavior.
