Spring is here, How are YOU cleaning and changing things ??

I wish it was spring :/ I have a lot planned, and we just got 10 inches of snow this morning!
I want to convert my goat shed into a chicken coop, and move my goats into my current chicken coop. The locations work better if we switch them. Then I've got a few other barns I'd like to fix up for chicken coops.

Thanks all, I think I will put some in the hens garden and see if anyone on CL wants some. I can't use it in my tiny garden, too much variety and nitrogen blah blah. I just throw new seeds and see what grows around what has lasted from last year

@HuskerHens18 THAT is who got the snow, I remember seeing it somewhere.
GL with the snow melting, it was just flurrying here Winter/Spring is on and off. Sending WARM wishes your way as it is so fun to Re-do things

Already cleaned out the pine shavings. Moved them to the run. Going to double the size of the run. Will leave up the wall. Add some chicken size doors that will give more separation when needed. This is also preparation for chicken math next spring. Will brood in the run.

Some of the deep litter from the run was moved to a garden.

@tigger19687 Yeah I've been hearing a lot of people got crazy weather yesterday! Tornadoes and tennis ball sized hail, I'm very grateful for just the snow! Hopefully it stays spring for you, your run looks very nice

It doesn't look or feel much like spring here today, but yesterday was quite nice, so my brother and I took a 300-mile round trip and brought the playhouse home that will be my coop. 20 degree wind chill and spitting snow here in Arkansas today. Instead of the 15th of April, it's more like the 96th of January. Spring is out there somewhere but certainly not here today.

Couple inches of snow & 40 mph winds here. This is really getting old!

I love that "96th of January"... feels like that here today, except that most of January here was at least a few degrees below zero every morning.
