Spring is Springing!

When the heck are you going to put out your coffee table book?
Great pics and wonderful commentary!

X 2 theoldchick, here is what you have done for me. My old

eyes are becoming more observant and taking mental pictures of many of the natural things that I observe. Yesterday I saw a 'freshening' clump of moss in an unusual bright green - immediately thought of you and your camera. Thanks for teaching an old dog new tricks.

Lovely pics. Thanks.

We don't have a real Spring here. Most things dry up between October and about now during the dry season. Then, suddenly, the rainy season starts and every living plants goes crazy. The only harbingers of the new season are heavily scented flowers on some bushes. We content ourselves until then with keeping the orchids damp and the pot plants and fruit trees watered. My wife is pleased to have taken her first crop of bamboo shoots from her plantation recently - not pretty to look at but edible! I suppose that most plants could be kept active with semi shade and a lot of watering morning or evening but life holds other diversions for us.

Fascinating to hear about other folk's weather pattern in their part of the world. Photos are always welcome!

Beautiful spring weather here in Lincolnshire UK. Daffodils are blooming along the verges, and primroses under the hedgerows. My old climbing roses are sending out new green shoots. Days are getting longer The sun is still setting and it is 6:30 pm. The little stream is full of frog and toad spawn. Surely the nicest season of all?
