Hi. I am Rob from Western Kentucky. I picked these up at my local farm supply store. Two bantam chicks and four leghorns. They were labeled California gray leghorns, but I can not find any pictures of any gray leghorns that were white chicks. They are my first chickens, so what do I know .

We have a few chickens outside already. (2 delawares, a maran, a red, and an Amauracana) but recently we had a sad loss of our Silver Sebright Bantam so we got a replacement. The Silver Sebright won't be here till next week. I found another breed I wanted to go with the sebright BUT since it won't be here till next week they suggested we get a friend for the current one...
So here is our baby Black Australorp and our Hamburg Bantam 5 days old in this picture..

Well, I am still waiting on my new chicks. Got an order coming in from McMurry with some breeds that I am hoping will do better in our hot Texas summer.
Gonna try some Buttercups, Dark Cornish, Dominiques, Silver Spangled Hamburgs, and some Golden Polish for mom plus the free rare chic (probably will be a rooster).
They are due to ship at the end of this month.

Man I got spring fever bad this year. All ready been gardening, trying to get my does knocked up by the buck (goats), and can't stop oogling the baby critter pics.
