Excited to share my first chicks, they are 1 week today. So many cute baby pics already! I started with 2 RIR and 4 SLW, all straight run from TSC. Feel pretty humble in this company of so many fancys! I love them all.

Just got our 3 day old chicks yesterday, our 3 year old daughter loves them

I didnt get any closer pics, but there is 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Rhode Island Reds, 3 Buckeyes, and 3 Black Sex Links. I am really hoping they are all hens

First time chicken owner!!!! 5 chicks are 1 week and 2 days and 3 are 2 days old!! I am loving it. Coop building begins next weekend. I never thought I would enjoy this a much as I do! Watch tv? Not me, I watch chickens lol!

Chicks are outside while the brooder is being cleaned. I don't need to give them grit do I? Doesn't the soil make up for that?
