I currently have a jar of BOSS sprouting in my kitchen. Who else has sprouts for their chickens? What kinds do you use?

I sprouted lentils occasionaly, and I have also done sprouted corn.

I just started sprouting 4 days ago....I bought some deer mix from tractor supply. I was growing it in soil and then came across the fodder system...I am loving it so far...the girls will have their first batch of fodder in 2 days, and they better like it lol

But the way the deer mix has clover, rape and one other kind?

Silly chix wouldn't eat the oats as seeds so I fooled the silly things.....I sprouted it and they love it!

Which is a good thing because it was a really big bag (if they didn't eat it)!

My girls love BOSS so they better eat it this way too or they'll be in trouble lol

Ok here is a really stupid question....What is BOSS?? I have seen this mentioned quite a few times and I don't know what it is.

Where do you find them?
Most feed stores, pet stores, and home improvement stores carry them for wild birds. They are high in protein and a great treat for chickens. Don't feed them too many though, as they are high in fat and can contribute to fatty liver disease.
