Spruce Grouse

those birds in the pics look like young spruce grouse, I know 100% they are not ruffed grouse.

Not roughs in those pics in north central WA. They have blues and spruce mostly, with a few roughs. You'll know a spruce grouse when you eat them. Much prettier alive than on the palate.
