Welcome Back!!!
Let's see what is going on at our farm.... I am currently working on our website trying to get it up and going and that is taking forever!!
We have eggs everywhere and I have no clue what any of them are since we have 30 species! I have confirmed some are wood ducks, Madnarins, a Ring teal is sitting in a ground box so I am assuming she had laid eggs somewhere. WE have about 8 or 9 boxes full of eggs and the ground layers are starting to lay but not set and I am resisting pulling them.. I did get a confirmation that my Barrow's Goldeneye is laying because of the color and size of the eggs!!
and my little quail and turkeys are laying and I have 100ish chicken eggs (silkie and Cochins) in the inubator that should hatch next weekend!!
I did pick up a pair of breeder sebastopol geese at an auction about amonth ago and I am just waiting for them to find a place and make a next! That will be a fun adventure trying to collect eggs since they are on our open pond!
I am excited for this.. Good luck to you!! I need to get some call dusk this year so keep me in mind.. I am going to get them and put them int our brood house (it has a small pool in it) and hoping have some broody call ducks!
