SPURS question...

At what age to Roosters begin to get noticible spurs? I have a crazy cross breed bird - 1/2 Ameraucana and 1/2 Maran that has a sort of goofy comb... like a single comb growing through a pea comb. I've thought he was a Roo for some time now, but I'm not seeing his hackle or saddle feathers develop and he has no spurs whatsoever... He's 2 months old.

Kinda anxious, aintcha? He`s still a baby. You won`t see any spurs until' he`s past 6 mos probably. Relax........Pop

Barred Rock is 17wks showing signs of spurs breaking out very small and round, Buff Rock same age but breaking out slower, 2 other Bar R are low on the pole and have hens legs, smooooooth.
