Thanks everybody - yeah, they are a riot, those two together. They knew I was watching them through the window but they don't stop until I actually open the window - then suddenly everything goes silent - ridiculous! My chickens never cease to amuse me and entertain me. I love being able to watch them in their coop - especially at night. Has anyone ever noticed how weird chickens are when they sleep? My husband and I call it "Sleepytime Chickens." They open their beaks, panting through their mouths, hunch over with their wings spread out - it's a hoot. When their little heads drop down in deep sleep -- that's when it really gets cute. I'm so glad I cut that window so I can watch them all the time - it's really fun.
